Oh, Independence Day,
Long may Old Glory wave!
Liberty rang throughout the land;
Home of the free and the brave.
A horrible price to pay,
As patriots marched to fight;
Giving their lives in sacrifice,
To claim America’s rights.
The declaration was signed and sealed;
The right to life rang loud and clear;
All men created equal was plain;
In God we trust and revere.
Now think for a moment how Jesus paid
The ultimate sacrifice for sin
To give us liberty from death and hell,
Now won’t you ask Him in!
