Laughter is God’s special giftTo give our spirits in need of a lift;
A sound He gave when joyfully heard,
Making life lighter, with not needing a word.
Sharing and adding to ordinary days;
Light-hearted moments with not even a phrase.
Like the feeling you get when a bird chirps with glee,
Or like splashing in the ocean so happy and carefree.
Laughter will bring cheer in clouds or rain,
No matter what life may hold or contain.
Having moments in life to amuse
Chase away those pitiful blues.
“Good medicine is a cheerful heart!”
So healing, for all to give joy and take part.
Imagine life without even a grin,
Holding back, leaving gladness within.
Rather, look at life on the brighter side,
In spite of difficulties, walking in stride.
Be fun to live with and giggle a lot;
Have a sense of humor, share a silly thought.
Change your sad demeanor and style;
Life is too short to not laugh or smile!
