but that God comes quickly,
into our struggles
into our pain
into our deepest joys-
if invited!
His immeasurable love
and endless mystery
masters our striving,
smiles on our progress,
enables our victory.
When all seems as losing,
God through Christ
upholds His children
in puzzling power,
lifting us even
over death.
