Sour Cream Apple Pie

one 9-inch unbaked pastry pie shell
6 tart apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sour cream

Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter together until crumbly. Arrange apples in pie shell; sprinkle mixture over the apples. Spoon sour cream over the top. Bake for 25 minutes at 400°, then reduce heat to 350° and bake for 20 to 30 minutes longer.
