Triumphs through trials
Bravery at sea;
The God of the pilgrims
Heard every plea.
Provision for the needy
Faith in His plan;
The God of the pilgrims
Led in command.
Strength for the weary
Patience through loss;
The God of the pilgrims
Carried each cross.
These heroes of the past
Speak loud and clear;
The God of the pilgrims
Sustained and was near.
The God of the pilgrims
Still hears our pleas;
He’s still in command
And carries and frees.
The God of the pilgrims
Is our God too,
Who meets every need
So faithful and true.
