Nancy began her own on-line business last June
called “IT’S SEW YOU!” at http:// www.itssewyou-llc.com
She sells fashion accessories- traditional and
functional styles of shawls, scarves, aprons,
baby items, and culinary crochet. Her main work
involves knitting, sewing, and crocheting.
She also teaches classes for others to learn this
skill/hobby. Her goal is to give each item she
creates a fun and fresh look. She is known within
her church community in Virginia as “the lady with many shawls.”
My personal favorite is the cowboy boots!
Nancy has a business degree and loves doing anything crafty. But her ultimate goal is to work with local and national fashion boutiques to sell her items or serve as one of their suppliers. It is obvious to see that Nancy has great talent and creativity, as well as an eye for detail!
Customers see her as very thoughtful and quick to respond. Once they receive their beautiful accessories, customers are more than delighted and pleased with their purchases.(And shipping is free!) Very impressive store and beautiful treasures!

There is a drawing for a book giveaway of "Streams in the Desert," a book full of treasures that has been a huge comfort and encouragement to me over the past 25 years! Also, the author of this blog called "Cara-deo" is working her way through the devotional book 'Streams in the Desert' by L.B. Cowman. TANGY SLOW COOKER PORK ROAST
Ingredients
:
•1 large onion, sliced

•2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin roast

•1 cup hot broth ( Beef, chicken or veggie)

•1/4 cup Brown sugar 

•3 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar

•2 tablespoons soy sauce

•1 tablespoon ketchup

•1/2 teaspoon black pepper 

•1/2 teaspoon salt 

•1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 

•1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste 

•1 very large sweet potato, cubed 



Directions:

1. Arrange onion slices evenly over the bottom of the slow cooker, and then place the roast on top of the onion, then add potato. In a bowl, mix together water, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and hot sauce; pour over roast. 

2. Cover, and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, or on High for 3 to 4 hours.

CREAMY BROCCOLI SOUP:

1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tbsp. margarine
2 cups milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
3/4 lb. Velveeta, cubed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli, cooked & drained
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of salt
In a large pan cook onion in margarine until tender. Reduce heat to medium. Add milk & cheeses, stir until melted. Add remaining ingredients; heat through, stirring occasionally.
