Who gives freedom to birds in flight,
Voices to sing in the morning light;
Rain for plants to drink when thirst;
A brand new day with its sun to burst.
Crystals of white to blanket the earth;
Flowers so fresh in Spring that give birth.
Who commands the stars ‘round the clock;
Allows clean water to flow from a rock.
Knows the number of hairs on each head;
Made the sea with a path that led.
Who gives pigment on leaves in the fall;
Makes the giraffe on his own to stand tall.
Fed with food that fell from the skies;
Makes the tears that fall from our eyes.
Gives each heart the rhythm to beat;
Makes you hungry with urges to eat.
Who tells lilies what shape to grow;
Provides for the needs of every sparrow.
Kept three men from burning on fire;
Protected the man from the lions’ desire.
Who brings life from a mother’s womb;
Produces milk for baby to consume.
Knows each thought that flows from the mind;
Gives you grace to be faithful and kind.
Who sends trials to sinners to train,
Pouring out grace and peace to sustain.
Gives answered prayer and the will to obey;
Gives one health or turns it away.
Who allowed Jesus’ death on a tree,
To pay the debt to set sinners free.
Who loves more than the widest sea:
GOD, who controls and holds the key!
Then why ever doubt God’s Sovereign power,
When it’s seen each second of every hour!
