Monstrous waves in front of me;
Climbing up with a mighty roar,
Then crashing down and are no more.
They mount up high like the sunshine rise,
Then splash right down before my eyes.
“Where’d they go?” one would say;
As they vanish like a brand new day;
Plenty of time and lots of light,
But in a flash, here comes the night.
Darkness has sprung to another end;
Soon to be gone and begin again.
Like seasons come and quickly go,
Minutes hasten and swiftly flow.
Prize each minute with no regret;
Time ticks away as the sun will set.
Before you know it, a second’s gone;
Value each hour for life speeds on.
