Jesus used a life today
In more than just a simple way;
Serving Him more than some would do,
The day was planned, and time was few.
So kind it was to receive my call,
A nudge from God to drop it all.
They could have said, "Let’s just pray,"
But insisted more to come and stay!
What compassion, love, and tender care,
With arms open wide, their love to share.
Their comfy bed became now mine,
Giving up their sheets so fine.
My needs were met in every way;
Their joy was served, like a bright bouquet!
My dismal morning flipped upside down;
An angel of God turned it all around!
The rainy day and tear-stained eyes
To be replaced by sunny skies.
What grace and mercy to see God’s love,
My heart and soul blessed from above!
Undeserving of a love so kind,
But inner peace now filled my mind!
This angel’s touch, God used that day
To take my clouds and fears away!
Thank you, God, for joy restored,
Through giving hearts, their self outpoured.
