OBSERVE THE BREATH
Observe the breath.
The Creator breathed into our lungs the breath of life
And we have breathed ever since.
With every inhale we need Him still.
With every exhale we declare Him to the earth.
With the rise and fall we are fully human,
as imagined and as designed.
The process repeats again and again without tiring.
I am knocked breathless for but a moment,
For all i need is here,
Deeper in my chest than my breath.
I have not lost the Giver of Life,
My Sustainer.
