EARTHLY ANGELS

EARTHLY ANGELS"

God sends “angels” to minister all around,
And may also use them to effect us deep down;
Angels to bless our lives in fresh ways,
To touch our hearts or to cheer on our days.
Showing the love of Christ from a friend,
Always available with their hands to extend.

These angels have their own trials to bear,
Are human and sinful, yet serve God and share;
Tossing aside their own wants and needs,
To be used by God to help hearts that bleed.

These faithful followers from our great God above
Were given to us by His mercy and love,
Often surprising with a kind word or deed,
Or ministering to us in an hour of need.
Angels are heavenly, priceless treasure,
Encouraging to the soul beyond all measure.

These tireless angels come on wings of grace,
Miracles of love with the sweetest embrace;
May God reward His gifted ones on earth;
Guide them with more grace and all it is worth.

These acts of mercy are of heavenly design,
The love of Jesus to brightly shine!
I praise Jehovah for His glowing provision
And for causing this lasting, divine collision,
By angels proven faithful friends,
Greatest blessings for God to send.

Each came on a miracle and are His works of art;
Thankfulness overflows for these angels’ real part,
For being there through the seasons of life,
The dark and sunny and fair and strife.
The unexpected changes and tests that come
With crosses to bear to help us become
More like our Savior who will soon appear,
Who shapes and molds us, drawing us near.
I will never forget such simple love,
Pure and selfless, poured out from above!

As you may be touched by angels of grace,
May your eyes look to His beautiful face.
May the beauty of angels that touch our lives
Point us to Jesus to harder strive,
Seeing just how much He really does care;
Our Savior’s gifts are beyond compare!

Their smiles, compassion, concern, and tears;
Their encouraging words and listening ears;
I’ve been touched by angels from God’s holy Hand-
His mercy poured out as He perfectly planned!

Thank you, Lord, for friends and ones we don’t know,
For each one You’ve sent to help us grow.
Without such mercy shown to mere man,
Or ability to show to others as part of your plan,
Would we ever be able to come out of ourselves
And learn how to be like the Master Himself!
