Banana Split Pie:
1 box crushed vanilla wafers, 3/4 cup melted butter. Combine wafers w/melted butter and line a 9 x 13 inch pan with this mixture, pressing it to bottom & sides of pan.
Beat together on high speed for 15 minutes: 1 cup softened butter, 2 cups confectioners' sugar and 2 eggs, spread this mixture on top of crust. Top with 1 pint drained, crushed strawberries, 1 (20 0z.) can crushed pineapple and 5 sliced bananas. Cover with 1 (13 oz.) cool whip or whipped cream. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and sliced cherries. Refrigerate 2-3 hours before serving.
This is a great Summer dessert and is very rich and delicious.
