APPLE CINNAMON COBBLER

(November is "NATIONAL APPLE MONTH!" Here's a recipe to celebrate the flavor of apples!)

Apple Cinnamon Cobbler


APPLE MIXTURE:
10 cups apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup water

BATTER FOR TOP:
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter, softened
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Combine the apple mixture ingredients and place in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.
Now mix together the batter ingredients and pour over apples, spreading to cover all. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until done.
